Professor Donald Zak will deliver the Francis E. Clark Distinguished Lectureship on Frontiers in Soil Biology at the annual meeting of the Soil Science Society of America this November, where he will be presented with the Soil Science Distinguished Service Award.  The lectureship is the highest award given by the society for pioneering work in soil biology and biochemistry.
