Michigan Sea Grant

The Michigan Sea Grant, along with the National Science Foundation and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, is supporting the Center for Ocean Science Education Excellence's Lake Huron Shipboard and Shoreline Science Workshop-- an opportunity for area educators to conduct research with scientists on Lake Huron.  According to Sea Grant Extension educators quoted in the article, the program helps to foster relationships between participants and researchers and often translates into classroom lessons emphasizing the science of the Great Lakes.
