Great Lakes IT Report (WWJ Newsradio 950)
New research by SNRE research scientist David Jude and colleagues examines the impact of the spread of invasive mussels in the Great Lakes on the livelihood of the algae-feeder diporeia-- as well as the consequences for the food chain and Michigan's fishing industries. "Fundamental, amazing change is happening in the Great Lakes right now, and it's being propagated throughout the food web, from the bottom up," said Jude in the article.
