A panel of experts at The National Summit in Detroit this week called for the creation of a green standard for products to help consumers make sustainable decisions.  Thomas Lyon, SNRE professor and director of the Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise, commented on the lack of a single green standard and suggested that businesses seeking to expand their presence in green markets may want to explore partnerships with nongovernmental organizations.
