SNRE Acting Dean Allan appears on radio program "Issues of the Environment"
David Allan, acting dean of the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and Environment, appears tomorrow (Wednesday, April 22) as a guest on the radio program "Issues of the Environment" to discuss the school's new sustainability outreach program.
The program is scheduled to air from 8:10-8:30 a.m. EDT on WEMU-FM (89.1), a National Public Radio affiliate. The show coincides with the national observation of Earth Day. (Listen to a recording of the program ...)
Program host David Fair interviewed Dean Allan about the Teaching and Inspiring Environmental Stewardship (TIES) program, which SNRE formally launched April 1. TIES is a community-focused environmental education program to help educators, their students and the general public better understand sustainability and the benefits of building green.
