Lecture title: 'Analysis, Simulation and Assessment: Geodesign with an Alternative-Futures Approach'
Guoping Huang is a research associate in the Center for Geographic Analysis and Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. He also teaches GIS at Harvard Extension School. Before that, he had served as a landscape planner in LANDD International LLC, MA and Beijing Turen Design Institute. His main research interest is in the development and application of geo-spatial tools in landscape planning and assessment. Guoping Huang received his Doctor of Design degree from Harvard Graduate School of Design in 2005. He also has a M.S. degree in landscape planning and a B.S. degree in urban and regional planning.
