Tuition/Fees/Other Expenses

Living expenses are the most variable part of a student’s budget. Costs for books and supplies varies by field of study, course load and selected classes. Reduce costs by comparing prices, buying used books, renting books or using the university library and book reserves system. Reduce, reuse, repair, repurpose, recycle. Economize by through cohabitation, eating at home, and using the university’s many resources from fitness facilities to computer labs. Visit the U-M Office of the Registrar for additional information including tuition and fees per term or part-time schedule.
