This course requires an understanding of the impact evaluation methods covered during NRE 501-059 and therefore students must have successfully completed that course prior to enrolling in this one.  This module will proceed with applications of impact evaluation methods via topics such as the energy ladder, the role of electrification in development, demand for energy efficiency, the impact of weather shocks, amongst others.   Before the end of the course, students will apply these methods by designing their own impact evaluation and critiquing other proposed evaluations.
